Research Overview |
| What makes Botanical Garden differ from other tour location is botanical gard- en participate in science research, that is collect wild or alien plant species, acclimate and cultivate them, and finally make them into sustainable useful plant species. The Technology staff of Xi’an botanical garden take the responsibility of plant research, plant protection and plant utilization, and do a lot of meani- ngful research job. 30 Years of Reform and Opening Up, our technology staff work hard and complete lots of research results. By the end of 2006, the garden have achieved more than 60 research achievements, which focus on medicinal plant rese-arching, horticultural plant culturing and breeding, econo- mic plants developing and using, biotic resources using, protecting and researching. Recently, the gar-den has assumed the responsibility of over 60 projects from the state, Shaanxi province, Xi’an city and academy of science of Shaanxi. And the project named “the Research of Biological Resources and Biocoenosis in Qinba mountain” is classified as the important project of Shaanxi academy of science. |
